Common questions.
Does cryotherapy hurt?
It stings for a few seconds while the wart is frozen, then aches mildly for a few minutes. Most adults manage without numbing cream.
How many sessions will I need?
Common warts usually need 2 to 4 sessions, 2 to 3 weeks apart. Foot warts often need more because the skin is thicker.
What happens after?
The area turns red and may blister within a day. A scab forms and falls off in 1 to 3 weeks. Keep it clean and dry and don't pick it.
Are warts contagious?
Yes, mildly. Avoid picking, keep it covered at swimming pools and don't share towels or nail clippers.
Can you treat children?
Yes. For children, numbing cream can be applied about 30 minutes before the freeze. Ask on WhatsApp first.
Is it a wart or a skin tag?
